Director's Corner

Mrs. Hulliberger directs the Lahser Marching Knights and also conducts the Lahser Symphony Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band. In addition to the Lahser Band program, Mrs. Hulliberger is also Director of Bands at East Hills Middle School. Mrs. H. is a graduate of Michigan State University, earning a degree in Music Education. While at MSU, Mrs. H. served as the first female drum major in the history of the Spartan Marching Band. In 2004 she received her Masters Degree in Music Education from Southern Oregon University. Under her direction, the bands at Lahser have continued the tradition of excellence, achieving Division I ratings at both District and State band festivals. The Lahser Marching Knights have performed at Walt Disney World, and participated in the 2005 New Years Day Parade in London.

Mrs. Hulliberger's husband, Kris, is the voice of the Lahser Marching Knights. Mr. H. holds a bachelors degree from Michigan State University in Chemical Engineering and earned a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University in 2003. While at MSU, Mr. H. was the director of the Sparty Mascot Program and a member of the Mascot Team. Hannah Hulliberger is always willing to lend a hand!
